Absolutely beautiful guitar there! I noticed you used KTM water based lacquer. I have an electric that I am also doing in waterbased, using Stew Macs Colortone range.
Stew Mac recommend 12 to 16 coats of sealer followed by 9 to 12 coats of lacquer. Whether I stick to those guidelines or not, its well documented that the body receives multiple coats.
But what I wonder about is the neck…Im also doing a neck with a maple fret board (so spraying the frets) but some sites where they coat the body with twelve coats of lacquer, they only give the neck 3?
How many coats did you put on your neck? Should it be the same as the body ?
Thanks

Thanks for the kind comment. The back of the neck and the headstock should receive the same treatment as the body. The fretboard (and frets) should get just enough to seal the fretboard from dirty fingers, so the 3 coats vs. 12 coats seems about right.
